Wiplot is currently working on a new studio album (as of yet un-named) with the legendary "Pink" Bob Harper at his Lexington-based Sedistudios. Basic tracking is nearly complete and overdubs have begun. Shooting for a late Spring release.

International Pop Overthrow - 04.21
The band is pleased to announce their invitation back to perform in the annual IPO Festival in Chicago. This will be the band's 9th appearance at this international traveling showcase of local pop music. Based in NYC, the festival is hosted by numerous cities each year. For 2011 it's San Diego, Pheonix, Chicago, Detroit, Milwauke, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Austin, Dallas, Boston, New York and Denver here in the States, Vancouver and Toronto for the Canadian leg, and Liverpool and London in the U.K. Here's the info on Wiplot's set:

1997-PRESENT
Wiplot was formed in early 1997 as a vehicle for longtime singer/songwriter Dean Carlson (That Hope, The Something Brothers), with drummer Tony SanFilippo, bassist James McManus and guitarist R Fish Carpenter.
